Our psychiatric treatment and substance abuse services are available through both inpatient and outpatient programs. Austin Oaks Hospital is seeking qualified, energetic candidates for current job openings and welcomes new Grads. The organization focuses on servicing communities' mental health needs, providing excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families. Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A).
  • Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field.
  • Current State Licensure.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Aggressive Behavior Management training within 90 days of hire date.
  • Is deemed a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP).
  • At least 6 months work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility.
  • Familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.
  • Is a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.
  • Responsible for assessing, designing, structuring, and implementing therapeutic services that best meets the needs of patients and their families.
  • Working collaboratively as a treatment team member.
