About The Position

Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed therapist to join our Inpatient Unit staff. The Therapist plays an integral role in our comprehensive patient-centered care model. Michiana Behavioral Health is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment that helps patients restore their health and get a fresh start. Located in Plymouth, Indiana, in a rejuvenating wooded setting, Michiana Behavioral Health provides each patient with comprehensive behavioral health treatment from compassionate and caring staff. Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• A minimum of one (1) year with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment and clinical assessment skills preferred.
• LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC preferred.
• May be required to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to document patient history and identify issues for patient and their family members
• Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plan
• Provide individual, group and family therapy
• Document treatment provided to patient in medical record legibly and in a timely manner
• Attend regular treatment team meetings to provide social work perspective
