About The Position

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a full-time Therapist In Training to join our Beloit outpatient mental health team. This is an excellent opportunity for a master's-level clinician who is working toward independent licensure and wants meaningful clinical experience, high-quality supervision, and the opportunity to serve individuals involved with the Department of Corrections (DOC) and other community-based populations. Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• Practicum experience related to mental health, substance use, or community-based services
• Eligible for or currently holding a Wisconsin "In Training" license, including: Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Professional Counselor In Training (LPC-IT), Marriage and Family Therapist In Training (MFT-IT)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Active mental health licensure
• Experience working with justice-involved populations
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment models

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations
• Develop collaborative treatment plans
• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services
• Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building interventions
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in treatment team and recovery team meetings
• Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development
• Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices
