Requirements

Must hold or be working toward NC licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LMHC.
A minimum of one (1) year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Providing individual and group therapy sessions for clients in a specialized Outpatient facility.
Assessing the therapeutic needs of the individuals and families, and developing appropriate treatment.
Acting as the primary contact for clients and families throughout the treatment process and serving as a client advocate with the treatment team.
Acting as a liaison with referral sources, clinical partners, and individuals to coordinate care throughout the treatment process.
Exemplifying our 5 Star Service to clients, team members, referents, and families.
Demonstrating a high level of clinical skill in assessing the clinical needs of clients, determining appropriate interventions, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with these needs.
Completing psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, contact logs, discharge plans and other reports required for each client in compliance with State, accrediting bodies, quality guidelines and payor source guidelines.
Conducting weekly individual and family therapy sessions for assigned caseload.
Monitoring behavioral interventions for each client and providing skills coaching as needed.
Conducting specialized groups as assigned based on education, training, and experience; supervising or co-leading groups with staff or interns when appropriate.
Selecting appropriate interventions to meet the clinical needs of individual clients.
Maintaining therapeutic relationship with clients using praise and other reinforcers to encourage appropriate behaviors and attitudes.
Setting limits and holding boundaries in a kind and firm manner.
Demonstrating effective verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation, involving other staff as needed.
