This is a full-time Therapist position with a $5,000 retention bonus. The therapist will provide a full range of behavioral health treatment under the supervision of an assigned Program Coordinator, including diagnostic assessment, individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and other treatment, prevention, and education services. The scope of services will vary based on the specific job role. The therapist will provide diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health disorders within their scope of practice and under clinical supervision, adhering to guidelines and standards set by Medicaid/Medicare, ACHC, OhioMHAS, and CARF. A commitment to quality care is demonstrated through professional growth, agency-sponsored learning, utilizing best practices, and instilling hope in patients. The role emphasizes patient engagement and retention, performing tasks to ensure patient safety through screening, risk assessment, developing safety and crisis management plans, and coordinating with after-hours services. Accurate and timely clinical documentation is crucial for quality care and patient safety. The therapist will promote patient recovery through collaborative treatment planning, incorporating patients' strengths, and involving natural support systems and community resources. Session length and frequency will decrease as patients prepare for discharge. Patient Care Standards (PCS) will be met, and strategies provided through supervision will be utilized to address challenges. Revenue-generating tasks include timely and accurate documentation, maintaining treatment plans, and complying with prior-authorization requirements. Additional tasks may involve grants or special projects. Efficient use of EMR and video-conferencing software is expected, along with daily use of work email for communications. All electronic communication containing PHI must be HIPAA and 42 CFR compliant. The therapist will contribute positively to patient, referral source, and employee satisfaction, acting as a flexible team player who assists colleagues and positively influences morale. Active participation in strategic planning, performance improvement, and quality initiatives is also required.
