This position provides therapeutic services to children and youth within a clinic setting. The role involves establishing rapport with clients and families, assessing needs, and delivering face-to-face services. The therapist will conduct intakes, provide clinical assessments, evaluations, treatment plans, crisis intervention, and referrals. They will offer individual, family, and group counseling to help clients gain insight into problems and develop individualized recovery plans. The services provided will be recovery-focused, co-occurring capable, age and developmentally appropriate, culturally competent, welcoming, and attentive to individuals who may have experienced trauma. The therapist is responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality and meeting billable service hour requirements. Documentation will be completed collaboratively with the consumer to the extent possible and on the same day of service. The work schedule may include late evenings to accommodate after-school appointments, and services may be provided in community or school settings. Client transportation may also be required.
