About The Position

This position will work primarily with adult patients with co-occurring disorders. The role involves collaborating within an interdisciplinary treatment team to assess, plan, and implement psychotherapeutic services. The therapist will provide a comprehensive range of therapy services to patients and families, including individual and family psychotherapy and facilitating process groups. Additionally, the role requires coordinating care with external providers upon admission and discharge, lending therapy expertise to the team and organization, and supporting other therapists. There is a potential to supervise Master's level associate therapists or interns based on qualifications.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social sciences
  • Current licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • LADC licensure required
  • Ability to maintain required malpractice insurance
  • Ability to effectively, professionally, and efficiently communicate in written and verbal form

Nice To Haves

  • Will consider those with junior licenses (LAMFT, LGSW, LPC) who can demonstrate readiness to sit for licensure exam within 3 months of hire
  • Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred but not required
  • Stated desire to work with children, adolescents, adults (as applicable to role) and families

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Assess, plan, and implement psychotherapeutic services for patients of PrairieCare
  • Provide a comprehensive range of therapy services to patients and families
  • Provide individual and family psychotherapy, facilitate process groups
  • Coordinate care with providers or other caregivers external to the treatment team upon admission and discharge, as relevant and appropriate
  • Lend your therapy expertise to the treatment team and across the organization, as desired and as appropriate
  • Support other therapists and associate therapists as needed
  • Participate in case conferences and treatment team rounds
  • Potentially supervise Master's level family therapy, counseling, or social work associate therapists or interns (based on qualifications)

  • Pay range for the independently licensed position is $80,000 to $101,000 annually
  • Pay range for the Associate level therapist is $30 to $33 depending on education, licensure, and experience
