About The Position
Make a real difference in the lives of children and young people in out-of-home care. We are seeking X2 Part time Therapeutic Youth Workers to join our great southern team! In this rewarding role, delivering trauma-informed support that helps build resilience, encourages independence, and empowers young people to reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Full Australian Driver’s License
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check
- Relevant qualifications, work or lived experience
- Empathy, resilience, and a solutions-focused mindset
Responsibilities
- Supporting young people with daily routines, personal care, and activities
- Building positive relationships based on trust and respect
- Creating safe, structured therapeutic environments
- Responding calmly to challenges and behavioural needs
- Collaborating on individualised care plans
