Therapeutic Training and Support Worker
About The Position
The CHD In-Home Therapy team is seeking creative, energetic, and enthusiastic new members to join their team as Therapeutic Training and Support Workers. This role is available in Ware, MA. Therapeutic Training and Support Workers provide structured one-to-one skill-building for youth aged 0-20, offering support, coaching, and training in areas such as interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. TTS will work in collaboration with and under the supervision of a Master’s Level Clinician to implement the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan designed to address the youth’s mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs. This includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family in addressing the youth’s emotional and mental health needs. The role also involves assisting with care coordination with other community providers involved in the youth’s treatment and supporting and assisting the family in exploring community resources and natural supports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Computer literate.
- Minimum of 1-year experience working with emotionally disturbed children/adolescents.

Responsibilities
