About The Position

Verity Pharmaceuticals is seeking highly motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial Therapeutic Specialists to join their growing team. The Therapeutic Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales quota, including market volume, market volume growth, and business objectives within an assigned Territory. This role offers a comprehensive training program designed to develop your industry knowledge, sales skills, and product expertise. The specialist will promote and sell Trelstar and Tlando to healthcare providers including medical practices, physicians, clinics, and pharmacies within their assigned territory. They will identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers within assigned customers and professional networks to enhance scope of influence. The role involves creating, maintaining, and increasing sales within the designated territory by influencing the prescribing habits of the targeted audience, on label, and in support of patients. The specialist will implement brand marketing strategies and tactics at the local level, execute managed care pull-through and push-through strategies, and appropriately leverage Verity resources to enhance business results. Daily calls (face-to-face and virtual) will be conducted with a variety of key stakeholders across the customer segment to establish long-term relationships and achieve sales quotas and other key metrics, resulting in increased support for Verity products. A Territory business plan with strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities, increase sales results, and meet strategic objectives will be developed and implemented. Collaboration across Verity teams and business partners is expected to maximize efforts and enhance business outcomes. The specialist will identify and partner with stakeholders who impact healthcare decision making at the local level, including local healthcare providers, physician networks, and pharmacies.

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably business or life sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
2-4 years of proven sales record with a desire for advancement.
Ability to become a subject matter expert in the Urology, Oncology, Endocrinology and Primary Care specialties.
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Represent Verity and the brand to its highest standards.
Documented sales results are required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
