This position involves developing, implementing, and facilitating therapeutic recreation programming designed to support cognitive, physical, emotional, behavioral, and social rehabilitation goals with a person-centered approach to care. The role requires planning and preparing individual and group interventions, assisting residents in developing and maintaining daily living skills, providing training to staff, and participating in the development of interdisciplinary plans of care. The therapist will also provide supportive counseling, coordinate documentation, monitor resident participation and safety, and participate in discharge planning. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and communication with medical providers are essential. This is a Full Time, Exempt position.
