As a Therapeutic Recreation Spec, you will provide essential therapeutic recreation services to patients, helping them restore function, independence, and overall well-being. Your work will directly support patients referred for services, promoting health, wellness, and participation in life activities. This role is vital in reducing activity restrictions and enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree with a major in Therapeutic Recreation.
• Current National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical experience in a behavioral health setting as a Recreation Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic recreation services to restore, remediate, and rehabilitate patients’ levels of functioning and independence.
• Promote health and wellness through tailored recreation activities.
• Reduce or eliminate activity and participation restrictions for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
