About The Position
Fidelia Counseling Services is seeking dedicated Therapeutic Mentors to provide one-on-one, strength-based support to youth. This is a contract position focused on coaching social skills and emotional regulation. We take pride in supporting our local community through culturally sensitive and inclusive care.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- International students must be fully aligned with U.S. government work requirements (such as holding a valid EAD, OPT, or CPT authorization).
- Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly recommended.
- A reliable vehicle is required for community-based work.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children or adolescents.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a human services field.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with "wraparound" service teams (ICC and Family Partners).
- Engage with clients directly in their homes and local communities.
- Provide an affirming environment for all youth. We are a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes per agency standards.
