Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex - Chicago (NC)
About The Position
Blue Bird Day, a leading specialized intensive pediatric therapeutic day program, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex (TA/BT Flex) to join their multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Chicago, IL. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive. As an TA/BT Flex, you will provide support and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth.
Responsibilities
- Providing individualized therapy and group therapy support
- Collecting data on programming
- Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
