About The Position

The Theatre Expo is responsible for ensuring that theatre, dine-in, and take-out service items are prepared and served correctly and promptly. They coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure high-quality and accurate food service. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to provide customers with an enjoyable dining experience.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
• Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
• Lift and carry 30+ lbs
• Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
• Organization and prioritization skills
• Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
• Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
• Communicate orders, changes, and modifications with FOH and BOH staff
• Read printed tickets and prepare garnish and items for sale
• Inspect dishes and tickets for modifications and accuracy
• Ensure the cleanliness of the expo stations throughout the shift
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
• Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
• Other duties as assigned
• Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
