About The Position
Chara Christian Dance Academy’s Theater Department is looking to hire Part-Time Theater Instructors to train young performers in the areas of acting, musical theater, stage presence, and creative expression. The mission of this position is to deliver quality, high-performance theater instruction that impacts children and families through the performing arts. Results will be measured by student advancement, retention, and engagement. You will work directly with our leadership team to cultivate positive theater lessons and rehearsals that last our students a lifetime!
Requirements
- Prior teaching experience
- Positive, friendly, and good humored.
- Mature, wise, poised.
- Fast, efficient and proficient work.
- Positive interaction with children.
- A desire to make learning fun.
- Creative, responsible, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love kids, and want to GROW.
- Easy-to-work-with personality
- Desire to be a team player
Nice To Haves
- Completed or pursuing a theater degree
