About The Position
The Theater Attendant is the first point of contact for guests entering and exiting the Moody Gardens Theaters. At the beginning and end of each show, the attendant assists guests to and from their seats. The role includes minor cleaning between shows, opening and closing duties, and communicating with guests through the theater microphone system. Attendants are cross-trained across four areas and follow the theater’s cleaning protocol, including washing glasses for the MG3D, 4D, and ART theaters.
Responsibilities
- Interact with guests entering and exiting the theaters.
- Scan tickets and record attendance.
- Set up lobby queues.
- Hand out and collect 3D/4D glasses.
- Assist guests to and from their seats at the beginning and end of shows.
- Perform minor cleaning between shows and follow the extensive cleaning protocol.
- Wash glasses used in the MG3D, 4D, and ART theaters.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Communicate with guests through the theater microphone system.
- Cross-train and work across four areas.
