About The Position

The Brew Brothers Steward is responsible for ensuring restaurant china, service wares, and kitchen equipment are clean and stored properly while providing superior service to internal and external guests. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment; following workplace safety and health department standards; and supporting positive guest and employee experiences. The position is full-time on the evening shift at $15.50 per hour, with a schedule subject to change.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and communicate effectively to read recipes, training documents, and equipment and chemical warning labels, and to communicate with other employees.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Cooper County Health Certification Card.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment for guests and employees.
Provide superior guest service, interact positively with guests and employees, handle difficult guest situations, and work courteously with fellow employees.
Report to work in a neat, clean, pressed uniform with well-groomed hair and good personal hygiene.
Know and demonstrate workplace safety procedures.
Clean and properly store restaurant china, service wares, pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and tools.
Wear black, slip-resistant shoes at all times.
Maintain health department standards, including product dating and rotation, proper food temperatures, and overall food quality and appearance.
Complete required training within designated time frames.
Take out kitchen trash and keep floors swept and clear of debris.
Safely use the kitchen disposal, dish machine, and high-pressure washers.
Correctly identify and safely use the proper chemicals for each dish-room area.
Remove heavy debris from dishes before placing them in the dish machine.
Create positive guest experiences and maintain guest relationships, approaching situations with a “yes we can” attitude.
Comply with the drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy and submit to post-offer, for-cause, and post-accident drug tests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
