The Restaurant specializes in offering exciting, authentic Thai cuisine. Preparing Thai cuisine is a difficult feat that requires expertise, imagination, and a keen palate capable of identifying key flavors. To continue offering an exceptional dining experience, we’re seeking experienced and talented Thai Specialty Cooks to join our team, especially during peak hours. Requirements

24-36 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2-3 years of experience in Thai cooking)
Minimum 1 year of serving experience
Food Handler / Serve Safe Certificate
Alcohol Server Permit/Certification
Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Prepares and cooks authentic Thai foods and dishes using the unique recipes
Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of Thai dishes
Prepare sauces, soups, roasts and other items that need a lot of time to cook
Train other locally hired cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of Thai dishes
Collaborates with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers
Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
Checks the quantity and quality of received products
Demonstrates new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staffs
Determines how food should be presented, and creates decorative food displays
Determines production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services
Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
Arrange equipment purchases and repairs
