About The Position

This is an entry-level position with a quick advancement opportunity, potentially leading to a permanent role. We are seeking enthusiastic, coachable candidates who are committed to following rules and regulations. While experience is valued, we prioritize personality and potential, offering ongoing training to ensure success. The role involves maintaining and operating liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment, performing inspections and preventive maintenance, conducting daily rounds, and monitoring delivery procedures. The technician will also be part of the Emergency Response Team, complete local OJT and qualification requirements, and participate in various safety and training programs. Compliance with all HS&E Standards, including PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out, and Confined Space Entry, is mandatory. Additionally, the role includes performing minor analytical and sampling procedures and overseeing hazardous waste handling.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude and self-motivation to learn.
  • Ability to abide by stringent safety and quality rules.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving in emergency or high-stress situations.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 11 hours per day.
  • Ability to operate a hydraulic foot pump for 55-gallon drums.
  • Capacity for constant bending and wearing a respirator as required.
  • Adherence to onsite face mask mandates.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the semiconductor, chemical/specialty gas, military technical/electronic, or nuclear fields.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.
  • Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical equipment.
  • Conduct daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online systems, and performing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs.
  • Monitor and execute correct liquid bulk delivery and trailer transfer procedures.
  • Provide initial evaluations and obtain assistance for technical problem situations.
  • Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Complete TGCM Tech 5 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months.
  • Participate in safety, training, and operations programs.
  • Support the training of TGCM contractors as needed.
  • Comply with all HS&E Standards (PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space Entry, etc.).
  • Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures.
  • Oversee hazardous waste handling, including proper transfer, documentation, labeling, and spill response procedures.
