About The Position

As a Textiles Cleaning Technician at Paul Davis Restoration, you will play a crucial role in helping homeowners and businesses recover after disasters. Your primary focus will be on working with contents affected by water, fire, mold, and smoke damage. This involves a comprehensive process of documenting, packing, transporting, organizing, and cleaning customer belongings, followed by the careful return of restored items to the property. This role is essential in our mission to support customers during challenging times.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and respirator FIT test/physical
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments and extreme temperatures
Willingness to learn restoration procedures and safety standards
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Previous dry cleaning, laundry, or textile care experience
Knowledge of water, fire, and mold restoration practices
Knowledge of practices and procedures of water, fire, mold, and asbestos trades
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and use of solvents
IICRC certified in any area

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service and support to customers during the restoration process
Pack, document, transport, clean, and restore customer contents damaged by fire, smoke, and other losses
Protect and handle customer belongings with care and professionalism
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
