About The Position
Want to make a difference? At Paul Davis Restoration, we help homeowners and businesses recover after disasters so they can focus on what matters most. As a Textiles Cleaning Technician, you'll work with contents affected by water, fire, mold, and smoke damage. Responsibilities include documenting, packing, transporting, organizing, and cleaning customer belongings, as well as returning restored items to the property once cleaning is complete. Previous dry cleaning, laundry, or textile care experience is highly preferred!
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and respirator FIT test/physical
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments and extreme temperatures
- Willingness to learn restoration procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, contractors, and team members
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous dry cleaning, laundry, or textile care experience
- Knowledge of water, fire, and mold restoration practices
- Knowledge of practices and procedures of water, fire, mold, and asbestos trades
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and use of solvents
- IICRC certified in any area is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and support to customers during the restoration process
- Pack, document, transport, clean, and restore customer contents damaged by fire, smoke, and other losses
- Protect and handle customer belongings with care and professionalism
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records
- Dry cleaning, laundry, textile care, or contents restoration experience preferred
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
