About The Position
The intern position offers qualified individuals the unique opportunity to assist the Lee Jofa Product Development team in the NYC studio. This is an onsite up to 3 month position.
Requirements
- Degree in Textile Design is preferred
- Strong color sensibility and creativity
- Interest in home textile design
- Proficiency in Google workspace
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus
- Self motivated and not afraid to ask questions
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Applications without portfolios will not be considered
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of printed and woven textiles, wallcoverings, and trimmings for high end residential interiors
- Find inspiration images and create mood boards
- Create visual presentation decks of our collections in Google slides
- Cut, check, and label first production as yardage comes in
- Create color palettes for future textile collections
- Curate our best seller walls
- General studio organization
