Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in land development design and project management.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.
- PMP Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design and production of land development plans including grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including survey, CAD, and construction personnel to deliver complete and accurate project documents.
- Oversee preparation of feasibility studies, land plans, one-lines, engineering cost estimates, preliminary and final construction drawings, bid forms, technical specifications and related documentation.
- Serve as the primary client contact, developing and maintaining relationships throughout project delivery.
- Conduct plan reviews to ensure quality control and compliance with jurisdictional standards.
- Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
- Provide project budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning to include preparation of proposals for new Mentor and support junior engineering and design staff.
- Lead project meetings and maintain consistent communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in proposal development, scope writing, and client presentations.
