About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote, on-demand support for legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, they are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Texas Estate Planning Paralegal. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10-20+ hours per week.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal with direct experience in Texas estate planning matters
Strong drafting skills, particularly with estate planning documents (wills, trusts, and related documents)
Experience communicating with clients and gathering necessary information and documentation
Ability to manage client inquiries and draft communications for attorney review
Familiarity with real estate matters, including transferring property into trusts (e.g., homestead-related filings)
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work proactively and provide solutions with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines efficiently
Self-starter and able to work independently

Nice To Haves

Experience working with high-net-worth estate planning matters
Proficiency with Clio
Experience with Westlaw Form Builder

Responsibilities
