The Testing Technician is responsible for supporting safe, consistent, and efficient manufacturing processes by performing electrical testing and ensuring processes meet established safety, quality, yield, and production standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a cleanroom environment
  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs, process flows, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience performing electrical testing on passive components (capacitors, inductors, or similar devices).
  • Familiarity with electrical parameters such as capacitance, ESR, DCR
  • Experience operating electrical test equipment such as LCR meters, impedance analyzers, curve tracers, and power supplies.
  • Experience recording and managing test data using Excel, databases, or manufacturing execution systems.
  • Understanding basic equipment calibration concepts and measurement repeatability.
  • Ability to identify data anomalies and escalate potential issues to engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical measurements on electronic devices in accordance with approved test plans, specifications, and work instructions
  • Execute testing across multiple test stages (incoming, in-process, post-reflow, post-reliability, final test).
  • Ensure proper sample handling, fixturing, and test setup to prevent damage or measurement error.
  • Perform basic equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable measurements.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate equipment or process issues to reduce downtime and yield loss
  • Execute tool setups, recipe changes, qualifications, and process validations as directed
  • Document process data, deviations, and corrective actions accurately
  • Follow cleanroom protocols, gowning procedures, and contamination control standards
  • Support preventative maintenance and equipment changeovers
  • Contribute to development or refinement of test procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Execute reliability and stress tests such as thermal cycling and reflow as required
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams and is cross-trained to support multiple areas as business needs require.
