About The Position

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Testing Specialist to work for our company. The client agency is the Defense Logistics Agency. This role provides software testing experience (integration and acceptance). The specialist designs and executes IT software tests and evaluates results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. They also prepare test scripts and all required test documentation, design and prepare all needed test data, analyze internal security within systems, and review test results and evaluate for conformance to design.

Requirements

Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Five (5) years relevant experience.
Experience in computer software development and testing software applications, including system, regression, acceptance, end to end, performance, and automation testing.
Knowledge developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools.

Responsibilities

Designs and executes IT software tests and evaluates results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Prepares test scripts and all required test documentation.
Designs and prepares all needed test data.
Analyzes internal security within systems.
Reviews test results and evaluates for conformance to design.
