This position reports to: Quality Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Mebane, NC. You will be mainly accountable for: Oversees all testing activities for power systems including switchgear, circuit breakers, protective relays, and electrical distribution equipment. Manages Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers, ensuring professional execution and customer satisfaction. Ensures 100% completion of testing processes according to established procedures and schedules. Leads, supervises, and develops a team of electrical testers and test technicians. Assigns work, monitors performance, and ensures team productivity and quality standards. Acts as the primary authority for electrical safety in all testing operations. Collaborates with Manufacturing to align testing with production schedules.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree required.
  • 7 plus years of manufacturing or field experience.
  • Experience in electrical power systems preferred.
  • Candidates must already have authorization to work in the US.
