We’re looking for a Testing Lab Technician to join our dynamic Research & Development Testing Lab. In this role, you’ll get hands-on with our industry-leading coatings and support our product development process from start to finish. You’ll test, measure, mix, and apply, all while working alongside a team of brilliant chemists and technicians. Think of it as being part lab scientist, part coatings artist, and all-around innovator.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED (required)
Strong math and basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods
Good problem-Solving skills

Nice To Haves

Mechanically inclined is a bonus (not required)

Responsibilities

Perform physical testing and quality evaluations on new and existing coatings.
Measure and document color and gloss change for accuracy
Document change with a camera and hyperlink changes to projects
Rotate and monitor test panels to evaluate environmental effects on coatings.
Use lab equipment, scales, mixers, and computers to analyze and report findings.
Maintain Specialized testing equipment
Maintain detailed, organized records (lab books and digital).
Assist with exposure testing and data collection to support product improvements.
