Work is differentiated from level one because of the variety of tasks, the knowledge and skills required, the range and scope of contacts, and the independence of action. Work requires a broader understanding of office operations, but once learned, the tasks are performed independently. Unusual situations or precedent-setting situations are referred to as higher-level supervisors. This role involves school preparation and determination of who takes specific tests and works with scheduling of all testing modifications. It also includes attending pre-testing meetings, fulfilling requirements provided by the Director of Testing, and making necessary preparations for each testing event. The coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating events on testing days, completing follow-up activities after tests are given, assisting school counselors with student registration and input of schedules, and requesting records. Adherence to procedures for safe and proper record keeping, maintaining the security of student records at all times, and assisting with duties in the front office of the school as assigned by the Principal are also key aspects of this role. Other duties as assigned.
