Requirements

  • College diploma - DEC (electronics, instrumentation and controls, electrodynamics, electrical engineering, or another electrical-related college diploma.
  • 12-24 months of experience.
  • Ability to read plans and knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
  • Behavioral competencies: teamwork, self-control, impact and influence, communication, ability to stand firm
  • Knowledge of the metric and international system.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluent in English (an asset)
  • Knowledge of welding (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Use electrical measuring and testing equipment. Use technical documentation (Quality Advisory, Technical Advice, DO, checklists, drawings, C-18, etc.)
  • Apply organizational methods and methodologies (Business Management Manual, Procurement, Health and Safety, Organizational Procedure, General Process of Individual Workshops)
  • Apply job methods and methodologies (prioritizing and planning work, for example, day one follow-up, distances to check, follow-up to ensure proper vacuum, lead during committees).
  • Use internal systems: product identification, tag, RNC, Poka, etc.
  • Resolve complex problems requiring thorough fact-finding and analysis.
  • Share knowledge and experience with less experienced staff
  • Participate in the development of methods, instructions, and tests.
  • Act as a technical leader
