About The Position

Dover Food Retail is a manufacturer of display cases, specialty products, refrigeration systems, power systems, and related services, including glass doors and intelligent merchandising technologies. It is part of Dover Corporation’s Refrigeration and Food Equipment segment.

The Tester is accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions. The work includes installing parts or components on products moving along the line, moving and sorting materials or finished goods, checking output quality, and maintaining daily production records. This Support 2 role requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools acquired through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. The employee works under moderate supervision and handles mostly routine problems, which may sometimes require interpreting or deviating from standard procedures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions.
• Operate machinery or equipment to install a piece, part, or component on an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly moving along the assembly line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality to identify and discard faulty products or send them for re-manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
