About The Position

This is a long-term contract role for a Tester located in Plano, TX or Phoenix, AZ. The position requires the candidate to be a W2 employee, and C2C candidates will not be considered. The role involves both functional and integration testing, with a strong emphasis on Guidewire Claim Center. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance domain concepts, particularly in policy and claims. Experience with API testing, Snowflake SQL, Kafka validation, and database validation is essential. Familiarity with automation tools like GTUI or Playwright is preferred. Experience with Claim Center migration projects and post-migration validation is also a key requirement. The role may require the individual to act as both a Test Lead and a Tester, depending on project demands. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary. Flexibility to support weekend on-call duties is also expected.

Requirements

• Very strong experience in Guidewire Claim Center (functional + integration testing).
• Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts, especially policy and claims.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
• Solid expertise in Snowflake SQL, Kafka validation, and database validation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automation tools (GTUI or Playwright preferred).
• Experience with Claim Center migration projects and post-migration validation.
• Ability to work as both Test Lead and Tester, depending on project needs.

Responsibilities
