We have an exciting opportunity as a Test Vehicle Engineer, where you will work with a team of test engineers to support subsystem and component testing. As a part of this role, you will plan design and execute subsystem level tests that support Rolls-Royce development programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1 year of engineering experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering, OR PhD in Engineering
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to be eligible for consideration

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LabView software
  • Familiarity with aerospace engines and engine controls technology

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute mechanical testing of subsystems and components
  • Design and construct test setups to achieve specified test results for customers
  • Coordinate test readiness reviews, risk assessments and data review sessions
  • Design, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electro-mechanical test systems, instrumentation, advanced data acquisition, and experimental test control systems
  • Perform data analysis for troubleshooting test systems and present results to internal and external customers
  • Manage facility assets and instrumentation, including tracking and coordinating calibration schedules and performing required periodic maintenance
