In this role you will implement and improve testing, development, and validation techniques, processes to maximize product quality. This role resides within the Aftertreatment & Exhaust Systems team (AT&ES) and is focused on the validation of aftertreatment systems for a wide range of applications such as locomotive, marine, and Cat machines. This includes leading the team for FMEA evaluation, ensuring all validation tasks are evaluated for application requirements and assisting in CPI resolution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or equivalent professional experience in an Engineering function.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Extensive knowledge and understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Analytical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Project Management: Extensive knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Product Testing: Extensive knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.
