We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated senior associate technologist to join our Power Solutions & Controls Development (PS&CD) team in Mossville, IL. As a senior associate technologist, you will serve as a key member of the team in the preparation of facilities for testing, build and rework of test articles, and execution of test activities. Laboratory testing primarily includes battery cell, module, and pack development in addition to energy storage system, microgrid controllers, and hydrogen fuel cell systems development. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in laboratory support and operations, coupled with a strong commitment to safety, pride in their attention to detail and accuracy, and a desire to grow their capabilities to support validation and development activities. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with co-workers, collaboration with facility support personnel, and ability to prioritize tasks within a project to accomplish a goal are also key to being successful in this role. Requirements

Associates degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited curriculum with professional work experience in a related role

Product Testing: Working knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.
Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Working knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with laboratory testing in electrical systems, preferably Li-Ion battery
Extensive experience with hands-on high voltage electrical work

Responsibilities

Prepare test stations / chambers mechanically and electrically for test article installation
Install / remove test articles
Conduct electrical and mechanical checks of infrastructure, equipment, and test articles to confirm safe and satisfactory operation
Build, rework, or disassemble test articles in preparation for, or at the conclusion of, testing
Execute electrical and/or mechanical facility / infrastructure upgrades to enable testing capability
Incorporate process improvements in relevant work areas
Champion laboratory and facility safety and contribute to standard documentation for the same
