About The Position

The Test Technician supports production by performing hands-on test operations defined by released engineering. The role works closely with the Quality and Production teams to identify functional problems and develop solutions. It also supports production activities such as creating cable harness method sheets and assembling harnesses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Previous work history in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing.
• RF and/or microwave experience.
• Familiarity with network analyzers.
• Experience in wire/cable harness manufacturing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing for VSWR, insertion loss, phase, time delay, and capacitance.
• Perform standard network analyzer calibration as needed.
• Perform in-process and final testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems with production hardware.
• Create test data sheets.
• Manage test data.
• Support production as needed, including creating cable harness method sheets and assembling harnesses.
