About The Position

Brandywine Communications is seeking a dedicated and skilled Test Technician to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be testing, troubleshooting, and verifying the performance of the Modular Master Clock (MMC) and other electronic and mechanical systems to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of documented experience testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems, ideally in a manufacturing or defense/aerospace environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using testing tools and equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) as evidenced by prior work experience or assessments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures, as documented by previous work or training.
  • Proven track record of accurately recording and analyzing test results with minimal errors in prior roles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey test findings and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
  • Prior experience adapting to new technologies or testing processes, with documented examples of successful implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform acceptance testing and troubleshooting of the MMC product line and other systems per approved procedures.
  • Adapt to various testing levels, including lower-level assemblies (Digital, Analog, and RF), board-level, and system-level tests.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, or defined engineering plans to perform routine testing and checkout functions.
  • Conduct routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure compliance with final product specifications.
  • Diagnose and isolate malfunctions down to the component level.
  • Perform defined tests, collect, and accurately document data as assigned.
  • Operate PCs and applications such as Windows OS, test software, and related systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist with company-wide tasks as assigned.
