Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Typically requires 1-year related experience.
Experience troubleshooting skills.
Experience in testing Ruggedized Computing Systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong ability to follow written, verbal, and visual work instructions.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to effectively work under pressure in a multitasking environment.
Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism under pressure.
Basic reading, writing English, and strong arithmetic skills.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of testing in Linux environment.
Associate's degree.
Computer certifications.

Responsibilities

Performing troubleshooting analysis on advanced, ruggedized computer configurations.
Performing physical server repairs.
Following build manuals, written instructions, defined best practices, and guidelines in quality assurance for wiring, cabling, and system configuration.
Completing required information for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, defective equipment, and updating the repair status correctly and in detail within ERP.
Completing final computer testing as determined by internal scripts.
Assuming final responsibility for quality and quantity of servers repaired.
Carefully transporting computers to and from stations per quality and safety guidelines.
