About The Position

Become a Key Player as a Test Technician. You will help ensure quality and on-time delivery by accurately testing fan and pump assemblies, supporting manufacturing operations and test-stand readiness. You will work onsite with the production and engineering teams, operating and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical test systems to validate product performance.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Approximately 5 years of related experience and/or training
  • Over three years' exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of engineering principles
  • Ability to work with and set up 120–480V, 3-phase, 400Hz electrical test systems

  • Machine shop knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform moderate to complex test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and fixtures
  • Set up test equipment for a variety of products and measure/record valve or system conformance to test specifications
  • Install plumbing for hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and nitrogen tests per product ATP specifications
  • Work with 120–480V, 3-phase, 400Hz electrical test setups and verify accuracy of test stands prior to testing
  • Conduct tests using common and computerized data acquisition equipment and interpret/record results (X-Y recorders, oscilloscopes, transducers, flowmeters, vibe machines, vibe tables, ESS chambers)
  • Troubleshoot failures revealed by test data and perform rework as needed
  • Build and test experimental devices from engineering sketches or specifications and develop design details
  • Maintain a FOD-free work area and observe all safety rules
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule
