About The Position

As a Quality Test Technician at our Medway, MA facility, you will perform high-voltage electrical and leak testing on components and assemblies. Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards by following established procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting equipment upkeep. This role will report onsite 11 am - 7 pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Knowledge and utilization of Standard Measuring tape, calculator, and pressure gauges (required)
  • Knowledge and utilization of basic hand tools i.e., ratchets and wrenches (required)
  • Familiarity with electrical terminology and equipment related to electrical testing.
  • Skill in following detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
  • Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.
  • This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently , and 10 lbs consistently.
  • Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge and utilization of calipers and micrometers (preferred)
  • Knowledge and utilization of metric tape measures (preferred)
  • Knowledge and Utilization of SF6 leak detectors, SF6 gas carts (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-voltage electrical tests on completed assemblies in accordance with standard procedures and special instructions.
  • Operate RIV measuring instruments and SF₆ gas-handling systems; use sensitive SF₆ leak detectors safely and accurately.
  • Conduct routine mechanical and configuration inspections of final assemblies per work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Review Quality Assurance records and initiate/distribute nonconformance reports as needed.
  • Maintain logs and documentation for all tests performed.
  • Assist with maintaining test equipment and ensuring the calibration status of all tools and instruments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned
