Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a microelectronics manufacturing environment within the aerospace or defense industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience on Onyx 29/32 equipment and Solder re-work/repairs on Circuit Card Assemblies.
  • Experience inspecting to Military and/or ANSI/J standards is highly desired
  • Microelectronic assembly experience
  • Strong safety focus
  • Positive attitude and teaming skills needed
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement
  • A successful candidate would be able to accomplish daily work tasks with minimal supervision
  • Hand/finger dexterity and attention to detail
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Effective time management skills are a must

Responsibilities

  • Hot gas re-work via the Onyx 29/32, solder, operating semi and automated processing equipment, operating ovens, using a microscope to perform and inspect work
  • Sit and stand for prolonged period
  • Become X-ray level 1 NDT radiographic Testing Level I) certified within 1 year of starting position.
  • Follow detailed written work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS), create nonconformances in FOS, and perform rework
  • Communicate effectively, multi-task, and be flexible with the work assignments
  • Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and perform in-process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
