About The Position

As a Test Technician - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our Aerospace business unit by conducting detailed testing and evaluation of aerospace components and systems. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, contributing directly to the safety and reliability of aircraft worldwide. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the Aerospace business unit by executing precise test procedures, analyzing test data, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve product designs. Your work will be essential in maintaining Honeywell’s reputation for excellence in aerospace technology.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace testing or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of test procedures, data analysis, and quality standards specific to aerospace components.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment, instrumentation, and calibration tools to ensure precise measurements.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during test execution.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
  • All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone).
  • The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Aerospace Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working within aerospace manufacturing or testing environments.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition software and test automation tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document complex tests on aerospace components and systems according to established procedures.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to engineering teams to support product development and quality assurance.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards throughout all testing activities.
