About The Position

The Test Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing basic testing procedures on products, components, or systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This entry-level role supports engineering and production teams by executing test protocols, documenting results, and identifying potential issues under close supervision. The technician plays a key role in maintaining product reliability and contributes to continuous improvement efforts by providing accurate and timely feedback from test outcomes.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of air, water, refrigeration piping, electricity, and electrical installation preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints and identify components
• Intermediate math and computer skills
• Self-starter with the capacity to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Appropriate representation of the company

Responsibilities

• Complete Career Path training program specific to internal apprenticeship position to understand and learn the tasks and responsibilities of each service area, including Power Panel (1-3 mos.), Electrical (1-3 mos.), and Refrigeration (1-3 mos.).
• Complete training checklist and receive feedback on completion of training to establish training goals. Once goals are met continue to next department.
• Other duties assigned by manager.
