Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in product development or manufacturing test environment
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts
  • Advanced hands-on skills and proven mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • Expert proficiency with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and advanced electronic lab equipment
  • Advanced proficiency with multiple operating systems and testing software platforms
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex test system issues
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 year post-secondary diploma in STEM field highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex test processes requiring advanced technical knowledge
  • Maintain client confidentiality and test impartiality
  • Take initiative in structuring work and solving technical problems independently
  • Guide and mentor junior technicians in test procedures and best practices
  • Own complete areas of testing responsibility with full accountability for outcomes
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative test solutions and improvements
  • Lead coordination of testing operations across multiple technicians/operators
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades of lab equipment and software
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation and knowledge transfer materials
  • Provide expert evaluation of test results and failure analysis
  • Support team performance and help technicians understand project requirements
  • Interface directly with clients on complex technical testing matters
  • Drive process improvements within testing operations
  • Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
