About The Position

This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus. In-person on-site interviews will be conducted with Hiring Managers in a State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility, with offers made on the spot for qualified candidates. This role requires consistent, in-person collaboration and must be performed full-time on-site at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. The available shifts are 1st shift with a flexible start time between 6 am and 7:30 am, and 2nd shift starting anytime after 12:00 pm with a 10% pay premium. This is a first shift position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. The role involves setting up and conducting testing of production and field return assemblies, troubleshooting sub-assemblies to component level, diagnosing deficiencies, recommending rework, and correcting malfunctions. Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a test environment
  • Experience with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes and multi meters.) and skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing module deficiencies
  • Ability to follow test specifications, test procedures and written instructions in order to perform a variety of routine, standard tests which require reading, interpreting and verifying specifications using test stand setups
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, or written work instructions
  • Working knowledge of electronic theory and components.
  • Must be able to lift 20-30lbs

Responsibilities

  • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
  • Performs troubleshooting of sub-assemblies to component level, diagnoses deficiencies and recommends rework where necessary, with a written Non-Conformance and Disposition outlining clear rework instructions.
  • Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments.
  • Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
