Test Technician II tests and troubleshoots a variety of high voltage power supplies and electronic sub-assemblies to component level. They are expected to be very knowledgeable in electronic circuitry and experienced in a variety of testing methods and tools. The Test Technicians perform independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement.

Requirements

  • minimum 3 year of Electronics Test experience
  • 2 years Electronics Test experience
  • 1 years Electronics Test experience
  • 2 years Electronics Test experience
  • at least 4 years of practical work experience in Electronics
  • 1-2 years minimum testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
  • Soldering skills
  • Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Electronics certification (1 year program)
  • Associates of Applied Science degree (2 year program) in Electronics or adjacent field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • "C" school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics
  • Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training
  • Experience in High Voltage Power Supplies environment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure completed units meet customer specifications for performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies.
  • Record Functional Data during the various testing phases, analyzing results for test validity
  • Must Understand electronic theory and electrical circuitry
  • Read and understand schematics and circuits
  • Able to troubleshoot down to component level
  • Able to work from a written test procedure (ATP)
