Test Technician II tests and troubleshoots a variety of high voltage power supplies and electronic sub-assemblies to component level. They are expected to be very knowledgeable in electronic circuitry and experienced in a variety of testing methods and tools. The Test Technicians perform independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement.

Requirements

minimum 3 year of Electronics Test experience
2 years Electronics Test experience
1 years Electronics Test experience
2 years Electronics Test experience
at least 4 years of practical work experience in Electronics
1-2 years minimum testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
Soldering skills
Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel

Nice To Haves

Electronics certification (1 year program)
Associates of Applied Science degree (2 year program) in Electronics or adjacent field
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
"C" school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics
Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training
Experience in High Voltage Power Supplies environment a plus

Responsibilities

Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure completed units meet customer specifications for performance and safety.
Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies.
Record Functional Data during the various testing phases, analyzing results for test validity
Must Understand electronic theory and electrical circuitry
Read and understand schematics and circuits
Able to troubleshoot down to component level
Able to work from a written test procedure (ATP)
