The Test Technician II will follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. This role performs functional testing per part-specific pre-established test procedures, monitors tests through completion, records test data, and services test equipment as required. The technician will document acceptance or failure results and demonstrate proper use of simple hand/machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment, and mechanical measuring devices. They will perform proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds, comply with applicable elements of quality systems, and participate in continuous improvement efforts (ACE). The role requires meeting internal and external customer deadlines, acquiring applicable skills/knowledge/certifications, and complying with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs. Additionally, the technician will follow plans for production schedules and quality requirements, understand the end use of manufactured products, and proficiently use computer tools such as SAP while accurately following work instructions. This position demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule and may train others for technical tasks as needed. The role involves interfacing with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge, or resolve problems related to business issues, and participating in waste minimization efforts and audits. Requesting tools and supplies in accordance with project requirements is also part of the responsibilities.
