About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and debugging production printed circuit boards, supporting test engineering projects, and ensuring quality standards are met across all product lines.

Requirements

  • Highly computer literate
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills
  • Clear and comprehensive verbal communication
  • AA/AS degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of related experience, or a vocational/technical certificate with applicable training
  • Ability to work across single or multiple product lines and procedures
  • Operates effectively under moderate supervision following established procedures
  • Experience with test equipment including HP 3070 and GenRad (network and spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance requirements)
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with amplifiers and attenuators preferred

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling procedures
  • Apply Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL)
  • Identify faulted components or manufacturing defects on production PCBs down to the component level and submit for rework
  • Read, interpret, and apply schematics throughout the troubleshooting process
  • Test production printed circuit boards including functional and boundary scan tests
  • Leverage RF experience to support testing and debug activities
  • Run software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers; identify and remediate virus or fragmentation issues
  • Support production test operator training and certification programs
  • Participate in test process and test station improvements, efficiencies, and safety initiatives
  • Create accurate test reports documenting test results and any findings observed during testing and/or troubleshooting
  • Interface with cross-functional departments and customers as needed
  • Track yield and troubleshooting details in the Clarity application for all tested and debugged assemblies
  • Comply with ISO procedures and quality management standards, including quality, environment, health, safety, and security
  • Train production test debug technicians as requested
  • Support 6S objectives and perform all other duties as assigned; occasional overtime and Saturdays may be required
