Test Technicians at ATS Fort Wayne set up and conduct static strength and dynamic fatigue mechanical tests on various medical devices components and assemblies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in an R&D or Quality testing environment
  • Relevant postsecondary certificate, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency
  • Strong computing skills

  • Hydraulic maintenance experience preferred
  • Medical device experience preferred.
  • Experience using MTS test control software preferred
  • Experience working within an ISO quality management system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set up and conduct mechanical tests on various components and assemblies
  • Prepare and build test specimens and assemblies
  • Document and communicate test results to responsible test engineer
  • Monitor tests to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of lab and support equipment
